Frances Chastain GARNER, 63, of Tennga, Georgia, died April 25, 2002. Mrs. Garner was born April 1, 1939, in Floyd County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Byrd and Frony Serritt Chastain. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lamar Garner; son, Charles Garner; brothers, C. W. and Joe Chastain. Survivors include sons & daughter-in-law, daughter & son-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, special aunt, & a special friend. Services were April 28, 2002 from the chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. Burial was in the Dunagan Cemetery in Whitfield County. Arrangements are by Ponders Funeral Home of Dalton, Georgia.
