Delores Ann WILLIAMS, 33, of Chatsworth, died Tuesday morning, May 21, 2002, in Murray Medical Center. Ms. Williams was born May 1, 1969, daughter of Doris (Williams) Dial and the late Henry Emerson McDowell. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Candice Williams. Survivors include daughters, brothers & sisters-in-law, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, granddaughter, mother & stepfather, grandmothers, aunts, uncles and cousins. Services are Friday at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Ponders Funeral Home. Burial will be in Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ponders Funeral Home, Melrose Drive Chapel, Dalton.

Grace Lowery WOOTEN, 91, of Tunnel Hill, departed this life on Friday [Nov 16, 2007]. She was the daughter of the late Tom and Susie Pless Lowery and was preceded in death by her husband, Ike Wooten; and her brothers and sisters. Grace was a member of South Dalton Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Nellie Gulledge of Tunnel Hill, Pauline and William "Bud" Chadwick of Rocky Face; Grandchildren, Barney Collins, Randall Collins, Bobby Collins, Lamont Smith, Lamar Smith and Denton Smith; Fifteen great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren. Services were on Sunday in the chapel of Love Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cochran officiating. [Burial was in Whitfield Memorial Gardens. Love Funeral Home, 1402 N, Thornton Ave., Dalton was in charge of arrangements.]
